Telemesure.net: IoT remote monitoring platform

Context Telemesure.net is SNOC’s platform for supervising connected devices (an IoT hypervisor): it links sensors installed in the field, whatever their communication network, collects their readings and alerts the right people as soon as a value goes out of range. The role Lead Developer on the Telemesure.net IoT platform at SNOC for 2.5 years. In charge of the micro-services architecture, code reviews and technical management of the team. Main features • Data collection over the Sigfox and LoRa networks, designed for very low-power connected devices, and over MQTT • Real-time display without reloading the page (WebSockets) • Customizable dashboards • Complex, configurable alerts: thresholds, combined conditions, time windows and escalation (the alert goes to someone else if it is not handled) • Notifications by push, SMS and phone call with text-to-speech • Geofencing: an alert as soon as a tracked device leaves its area • Reading history stored in TimescaleDB, a database built for time series • High availability: the platform stays available even if a server fails On the technical side: PHP back-end, Bootstrap interface, continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD), industrialization of the platform for industrial clients.
